What is Extended Learning?
Extended Learning at Pasadena City College has a commitment to the community to provide new avenues for personal development, skill development, cultural enrichment and recreational enjoyment. Extended Learning is a self-supporting entity of the College and is not funded by taxpayer dollars. Classes are held both on and off campus to broaden the college's offerings and to reach out to neighboring communities. College credit is not given for classes that are conducted by Extended Learning. There are no transcripts or grades. Extended Learning classes are offered in addition to the college's instructional program. Should you or someone you know be interested in pursuing a personal goal or degree through Pasadena City College, a catalog of current semester credit course offerings may be purchased at the Campus
Bookstore.
To ensure a quality program, the following policies have been established. Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment, however, every effort is made to alert all registered students in advance. PCC does not permit any non-registered person, including spouse, friend or child, to audit/attend a class. Students whose conduct is detrimental (including, but not limited to, dishonesty, disruption of class, theft, property damage or willful disobedience) may be removed from class and/or denied future enrollment. Courses presented by Extended Learning are
for information and enjoyment; they do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of Pasadena City College. Pasadena City College does not endorse any person or product. Should there be a need, the Board of Trustees and Extended Learning reserve the right to change courses, programs or presenters.
